TIM HOTCHKIN
Tim Hotchkin (he/him) is a New York-based actor, singer, dancer and writer. He graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Theatre, along with two minors: Producing, and the Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology. In 2024, he was one of a select few graduates to receive an NYU Tisch Drama Award for Outstanding Achievement in Studio. In January 2021 he had his debut as playwright, director and producer with One Day Closer, which premiered at Perth’s FRINGE WORLD Festival and the Camelot Theatre. In March 2024, following a successful workshop, he debuted his new one-man play Fire & Rain, at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. Prior to moving across the world, he began his training at Western Australia’s only performing arts high school, John Curtin College of the Arts, with concentrations in drama, contemporary music, modern dance, ballet and musical theater. Recent productions and roles include Kieran in his own Fire & Rain, Clayton Williams in Walter Anderson’s The Trial of Donna Caine, Demetrius in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Ceyx, Vertumnus, Eros and Zeus in Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses.
